FISHBOWL! This Saturday!

Hey All -- Time to kick off this year's XVs season at Fishbowl 2010!

Fishbowl is this Saturday at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds on Gordon Field in Bremerton (same place the DIII Championships were last April).  Registration begins at 9 AM and the first matches should kick-off about 10.  Get their early in order to make sure you get a t-shirt in your size!

Key points:

• This is not a summer 7s tourney -- we usually play 15s or 10s depending on how many players show up
• This is not a team tourney -- everyone registers as individuals ($15), your names go into a fishbowl, and teams are made by random drawing
• This is a fun tourney, not a competitive one -- so come to have a good time and play safe!
• This is a co-ed adult tournament; participants must be at least 18 years of age and must currently be CiPP compliant with USAR (your CIPP from last season is good until Aug 31)
• There will be a beer garden, food for sale on site, and a bouncy house for the kids -- so bring the family and meet the folks that play rugby here in the Pacific Northwest

Schedule:
8:00 AM: KRFU Members arrive to set-up and prepare
9:00 AM: Registration
9:30 AM: Drawing of teams
10:00 AM: Kick-off!
12:00 PM: Lunch (30-45 min ish)

Although there is nothing formal scheduled for an after-party, we may all head out to a local pub afterward. The beer garden will stay open until about 5 pm at the latest. Contact the Comfort Inn in Bremerton for lodging info: 360-377-7666
