Renegades Team Officer Elections - Thursday 9/9/10

Renegades will have their team elections on Thursday in the classroom on base.  The team officers are:

• Team Captain
• Team Manager
• Social Chair
• Match Secretary
• Grounds Keeper

Click on the links above to see the descriptions of the different offices.  I think everyone knows what a team captain does, but here's a quick description:

The Captain is the primary leader on the field, and is the only player to speak to the referee.  He knows the team’s capabilities, strengths, and motivators.  He will know the team’s game plan and will follow and direct it during the game.  The team's Captain works closely with the other officers of the club, and reports to the team's coach.

The team's captain is elected by the members of the team, but due to the close relationship the captain must have with the coach, we let the coach veto the teams decision (calling for a re-vote).  We will also allow members to vote for "coach's choice," in which case the assignment of a team captain will be made directly by the coach.
